The Dirty Truth
It started as a mixed drink,
in a restaurant, at the bar,
in Arizona!
George Duerr — the "Beethoven of Booze" — spent years behind his bar building drinks. One night a regular asked him to bottle the one with the cinnamon kick. Then another regular. Then another.
So he flew to Jalisco, found a master distiller, and put the recipe on a label. 100% blue agave. Vanilla, almond, pineapple, cinnamon. A whisper of agave nectar. No cartel of big tequila brands would touch it. That was the point.
